Video Game Novels

Okay...I need to get a sense of what's out there, already, because besides feeling like this novel about video games idea is golden, or r0x0r, I'm worried that (a) it's super uber derivative and (b) it's way major, like, cerebral.

There are plenty of video game novels out there, which is not at all what I'm doing, though it'd probably be good to read one to understand how a game might be translated to novel format:
